GENERAL PRESENTATION

‘Les Bulles des Mines D’or’ is an accommodation and catering establishment, both guarded and unguarded, located in the mid-range mountains at an altitude of 1390 metres and open 10 months of the year. Because of its specific characteristics, its access arrangements, its location in the middle of nature and its isolation . Les Bulles des Mines d’Or’ informs its public of the rules that its customers declare they are familiar with and accept.

1 – ACCESS CONDITIONS

Access from May to October is by car to the nearby car park at Lac des Mines D’or. From December to April, vehicular access is neither possible nor permitted. Cars can be parked at ‘L’Erigné’ and then continue on foot. The operator can be asked to transfer people by motorised vehicle, for which an additional charge will be made. The summer and winter car parks are not guarded. Les Bulles des Mines d’Or’ cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage.

2 – CARACTERISATION

CARACTERISTICS
The establishment comprises a chalet for collective use and accommodation, individual bubbles and a Spa. These bubbles are compatible with temporary leisure accommodation.
The number of people accommodated in each bubble may not exceed the number expressly stated in each bubble. The bubbles are equipped with

• underfloor heating,
• dry toilets,
• fire extinguisher,
• torches,
• exterior lights

Cold-weather duvets and all the comforts of home are available to customers.

The chalet includes a communal area where you will find

• sanitary facilities (shower, washbasin, toilet)
• A fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, toaster, microwave, citrus press, wine and drinks cellar)
• Dining room, living room with sofa
• Outside, a large terrace with furniture 

3 – SECURITY RULES

Customers are informed of the specific characteristics of the Establishment due to its remoteness, difficulties of access and the fact that it is not constantly guarded, particularly during the winter or at night. The establishment is not accessible by helicopter.
It is only accessible by land, depending on weather and snow conditions.

Due to the specific characteristics of the premises, which are similar to those of a mountain refuge, customers expressly accept all risks.

Customers must ensure the safety of the people for whom they are responsible inside each bubble, the chalet or outside, as well as in the use of the furnishings. These must be used for their intended purpose only. 

3-1. Rules regarding people

Due to the isolation of the ‘Les Bulles des Mines D’or’ establishment, customers are informed of the difficulties of access for emergency services, both from a health and fire point of view.

Access to the bubbles requires good physical condition. It is not suitable for people who suffer from vertigo, sleepwalking, heart problems or uncorrected eyesight. It is not suitable for infants and young children. Mobile phones are recommended. All customers must be properly equipped, in particular with hiking boots and warm clothing.

Inside the chalet you’ll find :

• a first-aid cabinet with first-aid equipment.
• a landline telephone for emergency calls only.
• Fire and carbon monoxide detectors and alarm equipment.
• fire extinguishers
• instructions for their use

Outside the chalet are :

• a defibrillator for the general public.

Due to the natural nature of the site, with the risk of falling snow, branches, hail, pine cones, fir trees, etc., the establishment cannot be held responsible for any injuries that this situation may cause.

3-2.  Fires

Each bubble is compatible with use as temporary leisure accommodation (in accordance with decision P 202 493 DEC/1 – expert report available from the chalet). Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the bubbles. Each bubble is equipped with a fire extinguisher and a terrace with ashtrays to prevent cigarette butts from being scattered in the open air. The use of candles or any other source of heat is forbidden both in the bubbles and in the chalet.
It is forbidden to light the fireplace in the chalet.

4 – RULES OF COLLECTIVE SPACES

All guests are required to respect the privacy of their neighbours and to be discreet so as not to disturb other guests in neighbouring bubbles, including by not using the access paths leading to each bubble.

It is strictly forbidden to be intoxicated in the bubbles or in the communal access areas (stairways, footbridges, chalets).

The establishment is not responsible for any theft that may occur in the bubbles or in the chalet. We recommend that you do not store any valuables unattended.

Any object left behind at the ‘Bulles des Mines d’Or’ Estate will remain available at reception for 3 months. They may be retrieved by appointment only.

All items left behind must be paid for in advance.

5 – SPA RULES

Use of the Jacuzzi :

The owner will explain how it works when you arrive. As the spa is private, its use is reserved exclusively for guests staying in the accommodation. It is not recommended for people with health problems, pregnant women or children. Noisy games and throwing objects are prohibited in and around the jacuzzi. Diving and jumping from the edge are prohibited.

Spa users undertake:

• Take a shower before bathing and avoid swimming after using sun cream or oil
• Not to bring food or drinks into the hot tub
• Avoid walking on the grass so as not to dirty the jacuzzi
• Music is available, but please respect the neighbours.
• All spa users must be covered by civil liability insurance.
• In the event of repeated breaches of any of the above articles, the owner may block the operation of the spa, which he has previously granted, without compensation of any kind.

6 – PAYMENTS AND METHODS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED

2/ Withdrawal

If you cancel before 18:30, 7 day(s) or more before arrival, 30% of the reservation will be charged, 7 day(s) or less before arrival, 100% of the reservation will be charged.

3/ Modification or cancellation

Change or cancellation of stay by Bulles des Mines D’or on site

In the event of a weather warning, with external events beyond our control, such as bad weather, storms or thunderstorms, the management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this case, we will offer you the possibility of rescheduling your stay at Les Bulles to a later date, within the current 24 months. If you have already left home, we will offer you alternative accommodation at no extra charge, subject to availability. 

If you are not satisfied with any of these offers, all sums paid will be refunded to you.

If your reservation follows a gift voucher, the general terms and conditions of sale concerning gift vouchers apply: gift vouchers are non-refundable. Your reservation can be postponed free of charge within 24 months.

You can change or cancel your stay on site

In the event of a refusal to access your bubble (fear, vertigo…), no compensation
be claimed.

4/ Purchase and booking with a gift voucher

Validity of gift vouchers :

Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date shown on the voucher.

The gift voucher is nominative and numbered and does not give the right to any reimbursement, even partial. The date of stay must be included during the validity of the gift voucher.

Extending the validity of gift vouchers

Gift vouchers cannot be extended. No reimbursement
for gift vouchers not used within their validity period.

8 – DISCLAIMER AND INFORMATION

The customer declares that he/she is expressly aware of the general terms and conditions both on the Site and when booking.

They declare that they accept them and will abide by them scrupulously.

He/she releases the accommodation provider from any liability arising from non-compliance with the general conditions and regulations by him/herself or any person for whom he/she is responsible.
